Delhi assembly polls to be held on February 8: Election Commission

The Election Commission of India (ECI) on Monday announced the election dates for Delhi assembly polls. Elections will be held on February 8 in a single-phase.

The election body further said that election results will be announced on February 11. In the upcoming polls, AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal will seek re-election as the chief minister of Delhi for a second term. He will be fighting against BJP's Manoj Tiwari. For more, watch the full video here.

Video: Vijay swears in as Tamil Nadu CM amid roars, chants of frenzied crowd

TVK leader C Joseph Vijay on Sunday took oath as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu amid a sea of supporters, his friends and family, and several political leaders. Eight other TVK leaders were sworn in besides him, as ministers in the new government. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also attended the ceremony. The TVK managed to secure the Governor's nod to form the government after the Congress, the CPI, the CPI(M), the VCK, and IUML extended their support to the Vijay-led party for a colaition government.
