Delhi Police dispels rumours of violence in national capital, says situation peaceful

The Delhi Police has dispelled the rumours of violence in the national capital and added that no incident of violence has taken place anywhere in the city.

It added that the situation is under control and they warned the rumour-mongers of strict action.

In evening, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) had closed the entry and exit gates of seven stations (Nangloi, Surajmal Stadium, Badarpur, Tughlakabad, Uttam Nagar West and Nawada), but opened them later on.
