IAF inducts 8 Apache attack helicopters

The Indian Air Force inducted eight Apache AH-64E attack helicopters on Tuesday.

Air Force chief Marshal BS Dhanoa was the chief guest at the induction ceremony at the Pathankot Air Force station.

India is the 14th nation in the world to be operating the Apache attack helicopters. The AH-64E Apache is one of the world's most advanced multi-role combat helicopters and is flown by the US Army.

Video: Vijay takes oath as Tamil Nadu CM amid loud cheers and chants

TVK leader C Joseph Vijay on Sunday took oath as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu amid a sea of supporters, his friends and family, and several political leaders. Eight other TVK leaders were sworn in besides him, as ministers in the new government. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also attended the ceremony.
