Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday gifted peacock feathers to US Vice President JD Vance's children — Ewan, Vivek, and Mirabel — as part of a warm and personalised welcome at his residence, 7 Lok Kalyan Marg.
The gesture came during a light-hearted interaction where the Prime Minister was seen showing the Vance family around. A video from the visit shows the Prime Minister playfully engaging with Ewan and Vivek, who were seen sitting on his lap and chatting with him.
The Vance family — JD, Usha, and their three children — are in India on an official four-day visit. On Tuesday, they will visit Jaipur, followed by a trip to the iconic Taj Maha on Wednesday.
