CBI arrests chemistry lecturer in Pune in connection with NEET-UG paper leak case
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested the alleged kingpin of the NEET undergraduate paper leak case in Pune.
Amid the ongoing tussle between the Delhi police and lawyers, Delhi Police Commissioner Amulya Patnaik on Monday said that the public has high expectations from them and that the situation is a test for them. "We have performed our duty" and "we'll sort all our issue," he said.
The Delhi police have submitted a report to the Minstry of Home Affairs over their scuffle with the lawyers on Saturday and seek inquiry into the matter.
Addressing media, Amulya Patnaik asked the police officials to resume their duty and join their respective stations.
On Saturday, lawyers and police clashed at the Tis Hazari court complex here on Saturday during which at least 20 police personnel and several lawyers were injured while many vehicles vandalised or set on fire, according to officials.
