On resolving the border dispute, Zoramthanga said, "Even after the Shillong meeting, and after the trouble started, we had telephonic talks with Himanta ji and the Union Home Minister quite a few times. I told them - let's resolve this issue through negotiation and not the gun. We made a mockery of the Shillong peace talks. All Northeastern CMs are annoyed. We're all brothers. It's high time for the Centre to settle the issue. "
