Maharashtra chief secretary submits report on IPS officer Rashmi Shukla

Maharashtra chief secretary has submitted a report on senior IPS officer Rashmi Shukla. The report said Rashmi Shukla had sought permission for call interception citing terror activities and threat to the nation, but tapped phones of politicians illegally.

The report also said that after misusing the permission, Rashmi Shukla apologised to the chief minister and state home minister.
