The Congress must have missed Mallikarjun Kharge in the Lok Sabaha today. He was the leader of the Congress in the previous Lok Sabha. He articulated the Congress's stand on a range of issues and put the Modi government on defensive on a number of issues. Kharge lost the Lok Sabha polls and the Congress found new leader for the Lok Sabha in Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury with bigger hope.
But Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury today left former Congress president and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi bemused in the Lok Sabha with his articulation while trying to corner the Modi government over abrogation of special status to Jammu and Kashmir.

Eight other TVK leaders were sworn in besides him, as ministers in the new government. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also attended the ceremony. The TVK managed to secure the Governor's nod to form the government after the Congress, the CPI, the CPI(M), the VCK, and IUML extended their support to the Vijay-led party for a colaition government.
