Tourists battle pollution with masks to get a glimpse of Taj Mahal

With bagpacks on and masks covering their faces, tourists were seen battling the rising pollution levels in Agra as they ventured out to take a glimpse of the Taj Mahal. Many tourists complained of respiratory issues.

Several parts of north India continue to reel under the dipping air quality, with harmful particles making it difficult to breathe.

Video: Vijay takes oath as Tamil Nadu CM amid loud cheers and chants

TVK leader C Joseph Vijay on Sunday took oath as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu amid a sea of supporters, his friends and family, and several political leaders. Eight other TVK leaders were sworn in besides him, as ministers in the new government. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also attended the ceremony.
