Virat Kohli Visits Simhachalam Temple In Vizag After ODI Series Win Against South Africa

Indian cricket star Virat Kohli visited the Sri Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple at Simhachalam in Vishakhapatnam. The visit occurred a day after India secured a one-day series victory against South Africa. Accompanied by team members, Kohli was welcomed by temple office bearers. He embraced the sacred 'Kappa Sthamba' (holy pillar) and performed special prayers before taking darshan of the deity. Following the darshan, Vedic chants were read out for the batter. Temple authorities presented him with 'Swami Vari Sesha Vastram', a framed image of the deity, and prasadam.
