Vijay meets Governor, stakes claim to form government after securing majority

The Indian Air Force's (IAF) jets today performed a mega airshow on the 3.2 kilometre airstrip constructed on the expressway in Sultanpur district. The airstrip will enable landing and take-off of IAF fighter planes in case of an emergency.
From Sukhoi to Mirage aircraft and various aircraft of the IAF performed a touch-and-go operation on the expressway. The airshow was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, UP CM Yogi Adityanath, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and other dignitaries.
Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 340-km-long Purvanchal Expressway in UP's Sultanpur district.
