Isha Ambani brings blue Dior gown to life (one of her best looks, hands down)

Her latest outing at the Fenty Beauty launch in Mumbai in Dior falls firmly in the second category. It’s not loud, not over-styled, and yet, it holds your attention in a way that’s hard to ignore.

The dress: subtle, but sharply thought out

At first glance, the gown feels delicate, almost understated. But look closer, and you realise how carefully it has been put together.

The base is a fitted silhouette that sits close to the body, giving it structure. Over that comes the real highlight, an embroidered tulle overskirt that adds movement and softness. The detailing gets lighter as it flows down, which makes the entire look feel airy rather than heavy.

And then there’s the black bow at the neckline.

It’s bold, slightly unexpected, and exactly what the look needed. Without it, the gown could have felt too pretty, almost predictable. The bow adds contrast, breaks the softness, and gives the outfit a bit of edge.

The gown is from Dior's Spring 2026 couture collection. It features thousands of hand-sewn floral appliques and shimmering sequins on a sheer, sea-foam blue base. The outfit brought in a cheer, a perfect representation of the spring vibe.

Why it works so well on Isha

Not every couture piece translates easily, but this one sits naturally on her.

The proportions are doing a lot of the work: the defined waist gives structure, the sheer lower half adds length without weighing the look down, and the covered neckline and short sleeves keep it balanced.

While the Ambanis are known for their penchant for heavy accessorising, this look, styled by Dani Michelle, takes a minimal approach—just a few finger rings and a pair of drop earrings, not taking away attention from the gown.

Makeup and hair

Makeup was by celebrity artist Tanvi Chemburkar, again refreshing and not overdone. The eyes did all the talking, it was on-point yet subtle to match the vibe of the outfit. Hair was sleek and simple and the neutral lip shade tied everything together.
