Year-Ender 2017: Kate Middleton's most iconic looks from the year

The Duchess of Cambridge gave us some brilliant fashion moments this year. Here's a flashback to the best of those moments...

The pristine, white dress Kate wore to the Royal Ascot in 2017 received a lot of attention. The lacy, high-neck, long-sleeved dress, designed by Alexander McQueen's Sarah Burton, was compared by many to Kate's wedding dress. The dress was paired with light-brown heels and a stunning hat.

Kate stepped out with Prince William in this floor-length, light-blue gown designed by Jenny Packham. She drew eyeballs at the Royal Variety Performance in London in this glamorous gown, decked with sparkling gems and floral-shaped embellishments. She looked exactly like the princess she is in this attire, with her baby bump barely visible.

Kate looked glamorous at the Freud Centre Gala at Kensington Palace in this gorgeous, black, lace dress by Diane Von Furstenbur. She had worn the same dress when she was pregnant with Princess Charlotte in 2014. While it humbly hinted at her baby bump this time, the body-hugging dress made Kate look classy and stunning. 

For her first appearance since the announcement of her third pregnancy--and to attend the World Mental Health Day celebration at the Buckingham Palace--Kate wore this blue, lace Temperley London dress. She paired it with black pumps, a black clutch and a black tie.

Kate Middleton was the stunning lady in red at the opening of the musical, 42nd Street, in London. The Marchesa Notte dress had a crystal-embellished waist and a honeycomb-patterned tulle skirt. She paired the outfit with tassle-drop earrings and a suede clutch purse by Mulberry.

Kate looked more stunning than most Hollywood celebs at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Awards (BAFTA) this year. The black, tiered, floral-printed, Alexander McQueen dress had intricate embroidery on it. She paired it with a classy chignon hairdo and chandelier earrings.

Kate's Easter-special outfit wasn't just pretty as a picture. The off-white Catherine coat over the pleated skirt looked classy and elegant, but the hat reminded us of the one Princess Diana had once donned. 

While on tour in Germany, Kate donned this red, off-shoulder maxi dress at a garden party held to celebrate Queen Elizabeth's birthday. The crinkled, chiffon dress by her go-to designer Alexander McQueen, looked ethereal, and the made for the perfect summer-outfit.

Kate gave us two outstanding, athleisure-yet-Royal looks at Wimbledon this year. One of those was this tennis-style dress by Catherine Walker. The poppy print towards the hemline was lovely, and Kate teamed it with a Victoria Beckham handbag.

Kate was quite a vision in polka dots on the opening day of Wimbledon this year. The Dolce and Gabbana dress was perfect for the occasion. Kate sported a new haircut and a Victoria Beckham handbag at the event.
