Akshay Kumar thanked Amaal Mallik as the singer-composer danced to Burj Khalifa song from the film Laxmii.
Akshay Kumar took to Instagram and shared Amaal Mallik’s dance video in which he can be seen shaking a leg to the song Burj Khalifa. The song, which is a popular number by now, is the first song to release from Akshay’s upcoming film, Laxmii. Sharing Amaal Mallik’s Instagram story, Akshay Kumar wrote, “Thank you,” along with a folding hands emoji.

The song, Burj Khalifa, features Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani. It released on October 18 and received immense love from fans. The song is sung and composed by Shashi and Dj Khushi.
LAXMII TITLE CHANGE
The film was earlier called Laxmmi Bomb but the makers decided to change the title after it irked a particular group and was accused of ‘giving out a wrong message to the society’. Earlier, reports surfaced that the makers of the film had received a legal notice from Shri Rajput Karni Sena. According to the notice, the film's title was considered to be disrespectful to Goddess Laxmi, thereby hurting Hindu community's sentiments.
AKSHAY KUMAR’S MOST MENTALLY INTENSIVE CHARACTER
A few days back, Akshay Kumar had shared a quirky video interview with Maniesh Paul in which he talked about his role in the film and said that it was the most mentally intensive character that he has played till now. Akshay Kumar said, “The character of Laxmmi has been the most mentally intensive role. But I managed it and I thank my director, Raghava Lawrence. He told me how the character of Laxmmi walks, talks and dances. In a way I have imitated him in the film. If the film works, it will be because of Lawrence."
WHEN WILL LAXMII RELEASE?
Laxmii, a horror comedy, will release on November 9 on Disney+Hotstar. The film is a remake of the Tamil film Kanchana. Both the films are directed by Raghava Lawrence.
