Deepika, Arjun and Rashmika have headlined Raaka, Atlee's next directorial after Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan - a film that has generated considerable anticipation among fans.

The project’s budget is reportedly Rs 700 crore, making it one of the more expensive films currently in production. However, these payment figures have not been officially confirmed, and their accuracy remains unverified by India Today.

Raaka first glimpse

On Allu Arjun's 44th birthday, the makers released a poster offering a glimpse into the film's world. The image showed Arjun’s face partly covered with thick fur and a sharp tusk-like feature, highlighting his intense and mysterious gaze. The Telugu star is expected to portray three characters in Raaka: a cop, a half-human half-monster, and the father of these brothers.

Besides Arjun, Deepika, and Rashmika, reports indicate that Mrunal Thakur and Janhvi Kapoor will also play significant roles in the film.

Produced by Sun Pictures, Raaka is being filmed on a large scale, with the next shooting schedule set to begin soon in Mumbai. Production is anticipated to continue through the year, aiming for completion by the end of 2026.
