Deepika-Ranveer seen at Mumbai airport, first appearance since pregnancy reveal

Actor Deepika Padukone was clicked at the Mumbai airport in the early hours of Tuesday with her husband, actor Ranveer Singh. This is the couple's first public appearance days after they announced they were expecting their second child. The duo is set to welcome the new member to the family later this year.

At the airport, Ranveer was seen helping Deepika as she stepped out of the car, staying right by her side. He stayed close to her as they moved through the crowd and the rush of photographers towards the departure gate.

The Dhurandhar: The Revenge actor was seen wearing a full-sleeved white T-shirt, paired with blue jeans, black sunglasses and a matching bag. Deepika, dressed in blue, smiled at the photographers. However, the couple did not stop to pose.

Deepika will reportedly continue working during her pregnancy and take a break after completing her current commitments. She is currently leading two projects, King with Shah Rukh Khan and Raaka with Allu Arjun. The actor is expected to deliver her second child in around six months and will continue shooting action sequences for both films until then.

A source from one of the films claimed that Deepika had called the team to inform them about her pregnancy and remained committed to managing schedules in a way that would not inconvenience anyone, as reported by Times Now. Deepika and Ranveer announced the pregnancy on April 19 with a picture of their daughter, Dua Padukone Singh, holding the pregnancy stick.

The couple got married in November 2018 at Lake Como in Italy, where they had Sindhi and Konkani ceremonies. Their first daughter, Dua, was born in 2024.

Deepika's last Hindi theatrical release was director Rohit Shetty's action drama Singham Again, featuring actors Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, Jackie Shroff, Akshay Kumar and others in key roles.
