Khloe Kardashian shares frightening Coachella experience, recalls feeling drugged
Khloe Kardashian said on her podcast that her only trip to Coachella in 2015 left her feeling "drugged" and scared, forcing her to hide in a bathroom for hours. She also explained why she never returned to the festival, even as her sisters continue to attend regularly.

American celebrity and influencer Khloe Kardashian has opened up about her first and only trip to Coachella, recalling a frightening experience that left her feeling “really crazy” and locked inside a bathroom for hours.
Speaking on Wednesday’s episode of her podcast, Khlo in Wonder Land, the reality star said the 2015 music festival turned into an experience she has never wanted to revisit.
“It wasn’t the best experience. I got drugged without me knowing, but I think everyone knew,” Kardashian said during the episode.
The 41-year-old later clarified that she did not believe anyone had intentionally drugged her. Instead, she said she unknowingly consumed something at a time when people around her were openly using drugs.
“I don’t think anyone drugged me,” she explained. “I just think I was the dumb one and didn’t realise that everyone was on drugs. I remember drinking this drink and just feeling really crazy. No one wants to feel like that and not know why they’re like that.”
Kardashian said the incident left her frightened and disoriented. According to her, she locked herself inside a bathroom for hours because she did not understand what was happening to her.
“I was in my head. I was so scared, so my experience was not good,” she said. “I just didn’t realise what was happening until after it happened, that I was on drugs. Everyone was yelling at me because I wouldn’t get out of the bathroom.”
She added that she has not returned to Coachella since that trip.
While Khloe has stayed away from the festival, her sisters – Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner – continue to attend the annual event regularly.
On an earlier podcast episode, Khloe admitted she experienced “FOMO” this year because all her sisters attended the festival while she stayed back.
“It’s probably the first year ever I’ve had FOMO from Coachella, because I genuinely couldn’t care less,” she said. “But I’ve never had any Coachella where all my sisters are there. I was the only one not there.”
She shared that she had considered attending for Justin Bieber’s performance, but could not make it because the first weekend coincided with her daughter True’s birthday celebrations.
Khloe shares daughter True, 8, and son Tatum, 3, with former NBA player Tristan Thompson. The reality star was previously married to former NBA player Lamar Odom from 2009 to 2016.
