Rishi Kapoor funeral In Pics: Ranbir, Alia Bhatt, Neetu Kapoor bid farewell to Chintu

Rishi Kapoor died at 8.45 am this morning (April 30) in Mumbai. A visibly shaken Neetu Kapoor was seen at the funeral.

Ranbir Kapoor performed Rishi's last rites. He was cremated at the Chandanwadi Crematorium in Marine Lines, Mumbai.

Just about 20 of Rishi Kapoor's family members and close friends were granted permission to attend the funeral amid the nationwide lockdown. Abhishek Bachchan was one of them.

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan were also granted special permission.

Alia Bhatt, Aadar and Armaan Jain, Reema Jain, Randhir Kapoor, and a few others were also present.

Rishi's daughter, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni couldnt make it in time from Delhi, despite special permissions. She will be driving down 1,400 kms.

Rishi was diagnosed with cancer in 2018 and underwent an 11-month treatment in the USA, before returning to India in 2019.

Late actor Shashi Kapoor's son Kunal Kapoor was also present at Rishi Kapoor's funeral.
