Drishyam 3 box office Day 5: Mohanlal-film sees Monday dip after Rs 156 crore-haul
Mohanlal's Drishyam 3 crossed Rs 156 crore worldwide in five days despite a sharp Monday fall. The figures underline the thriller's strong opening pull, with Keralam and the Malayalam version leading collections.

Mohanlal and Jeethu Joseph’s Drishyam 3 continues its solid run at the box office. The suspense thriller has crossed Rs 156 crore worldwide within five days of release, after posting a strong opening weekend before witnessing the expected weekday slowdown on Monday.
According to figures by Sacnilk, the film’s worldwide gross currently stands at Rs 156.14 crore. Of this, the India gross is Rs 71.74 crore, while overseas markets have contributed Rs 84.40 crore. The film’s India nett (gross minus taxes) collection has reached Rs 61.80 crore so far. Another reported trade breakdown estimated the worldwide total at Rs 153.14 crore, with around Rs 6 crore added on Day 5.
Day-wise, Drishyam 3 collected Rs 15.85 crore on Day 1, followed by Rs 11.05 crore on Day 2. The film picked up momentum over the weekend with Rs 13.70 crore on Day 3 and Rs 13.85 crore on Day 4, before dropping to Rs 7.35 crore on its first Monday.
The Monday collection came from 4,684 shows across markets, compared to Sunday’s Rs 13.85 crore from 5,270 shows, marking a drop of nearly 47 per cent.
As expected, Keralam remained the film’s strongest territory. The state contributed Rs 6.50 crore to the Day 5 total, with the Malayalam version accounting for the lion’s share of the collections. Language-wise, the film earned Rs 6.45 crore in Malayalam, Rs 0.55 crore in Telugu, Rs 0.25 crore in Tamil, and Rs 0.10 crore in Kannada on Monday.
Directed by Jeethu Joseph, the film features Mohanlal, Meena, Ansiba Hassan and Esther Anil in key roles. The cast also includes Siddique, Murali Gopy, Biju Menon and Kalabhavan Shajohn in pivotal parts.
