Urvashi Rautela on receiving Valentine's Day wish from Balakrishna: So cute
Urvashi Rautela recalled the time when Nandamuri Balakrishna was the first person to wish her on Valentine's Day, adding that she was lucky to work with him in Daaku Maharaaj.
Actor Urvashi Rautela recently shared her experience of working with actor-politician Nandamuri Balakrishna in the 2025 hit Telugu film Daaku Maharaaj, saying she felt “lucky” to collaborate with him. In a recent interview with Radio Nasha, she addressed the criticism around their pairing in the film and said working with the senior actor was “really, really amazing”.
Rautela and Balakrishna’s song Dabidi Dibidi from Daaku Maharaaj drew attention on the internet in 2025 because of their unusual pairing and its choreography. Speaking about the reaction, Urvashi said, “I don’t know. Sometimes it’s like one thing leads to another thing, then third thing, fourth thing it was like that.”
During the interview, Urvashi also urged viewers to look beyond the discussion around the song and watch their scenes in the film. She said, “Working with him was definitely really, really amazing and if you watch the film, do watch our action sequences also. That is really kickass.”
She also responded to Balakrishna’s viral interactions with fans. Several videos in the past have shown him reacting aggressively or tossing away mobile phones. Urvashi said she had seen such moments herself, but added that people should understand the context before judging them. “Yeah, many times I’ve seen, and it always used to be fun watching all this,” she said. Speaking about how fans react to him, she added, “They also love it, they are also happy you can’t imagine.”
Urvashi also shared a personal anecdote about Balakrishna, saying he was the first person to wish her on Valentine’s Day last year. “Last year on Valentine’s Day, Balakrishna garu was the first person who wished me. That’s so cute,” she said.
Meanwhile, Urvashi is promoting her upcoming series Inspector Avinash Season 2, in which she will be seen alongside Randeep Hooda.
