Kamala Harris, The First Woman Elected Vice President, Says She 'Will Not be The Last'

Kamala Harris born to immigrant parents, is all set to become one of the most powerful people in the world. She is now, the Vice President Elect of the United States of America. She has become the first female, the first woman of Black origin and the first Indian-American to have an important position in the US politics. But Harris is no stranger to 'firsts’. She was California’s first African-American attorney general in 2010, and later, senator, in 2016. Now, she has become the first woman of African-American and Indian descent to be nominated for vice-presidency by a major political party. Harris in her first address to the nation as Vice President-Elect made quite a powerful speech and said, “While I may be the first woman in this office, I will not be the last.” Watch the video.
