After the battle for Bengal, now Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee gears up for the battle for Bhabanipur. She is pitted in the by-poll against BJP's Priyanka Tibrewal and CPI-M's Srijib Biswas.
BJP candidate Priyanka Tibrewal today filed her nomination for the assembly bypoll in Bhabanipur. She was accompanied by the Leader of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari and BJP MP Arjun Singh, among other senior party leaders.
Bhabanipur will go to the polls on September 30 and the results will be declared on October 3.

The TVK managed to secure the Governor's nod to form the government after the Congress, the CPI, the CPI(M), the VCK, and IUML extended their support to the Vijay-led party for a colaition government.
