It's official! Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja are tying the knot in Mumbai on May 8. After keeping the media and fans guessing for a long time, Kapoors and Ahujas released an official statement on Tuesday (May 1) announcing the wedding date.
"The Kapoor and Ahuja families, take great joy and pride, in announcing the marriage of Sonam and Anand. The wedding will take place on the 8th of May in Mumbai. Since it is an intimate affair, we request you to respect the family's need for privacy. Thank you for all your blessings and love, as we celebrate this special moment in our lives," read the statement. The announcement comes after months of speculation regarding the couple's wedding.
On the other hand, first song from Kaala, Semma Weightu, has set the internet on fire.The song, which is heavy with Tamil rap, is all about life in the slums of Dharavi. It is a song about the downtrodden and the underdogs. It is cut from the same cloth as the song Enga Ooru Madras from Pa Ranjith's second film Madras.
