OPPO Find X9s, Find X9 Ultra India prices leak ahead of May 21 launch

Oppo is preparing to launch its next-generation flagship — the Oppo Find X9 Ultra and Find X9s — on 21st May. Oppo has already started teasing the devices online to build market enthusiasm. As both devices have already debuted in the global market, we have basic information about the hardware and major specifications of the smartphones. What we don’t know is their prices. But thanks to a few fresh leaks, that too has been hinted at now.

Tipster Abhishek Yadav claims on X (formerly Twitter) that the OPPO Find X9s could launch in India at a starting price of Rs 79,999. Meanwhile, fellow tipster Sanju Choudhary suggests that the top-end OPPO Find X9 Ultra may arrive with a hefty Rs 1,79,999 price tag. According to the leaks, the Find X9s price is said to be for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, while the 12GB and 512GB model could cost Rs 89,999. The Find X9 Ultra, on the other hand, is tipped to launch in a single 12GB and 512GB configuration, which could make it one of the most expensive Android flagships in India.

Both of Oppo’s upcoming smartphones will be available via Amazon, Flipkart, and Oppo's online store.

OPPO Find X9 Ultra specs and features

The OPPO Find X9 Ultra is expected to arrive with a large 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED display offering 2K resolution and up to a 144Hz refresh rate for smoother visuals and gaming.

The smartphone is tipped to focus heavily on photography, featuring a triple rear camera setup led by a 200-megapixel primary sensor. It is also said to include another 200-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x zoom, alongside a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera capable of 10x optical zoom with a 230mm equivalent focal length. The periscope camera reportedly uses a Quintuple Prism design that reflects light five times within a compact module, while Sensor Shift stabilisation and OIS are expected to improve image quality and stability.

Powering the device could be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with a massive 7,050mAh silicon-carbon battery. The phone is also expected to support 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. Other rumoured features include a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, dual stereo speakers, and IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance ratings.

OPPO Find X9s specs and features

The OPPO Find X9s is expected to feature a 6.59-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 1,800 nits peak brightness. The panel is also said to come protected with Gorilla Glass 7i.

For photography, the device is tipped to include a triple 50-megapixel Hasselblad-tuned camera system backed by OPPO’s LUMO Image Engine. The company is also expected to offer support for 4K 60fps Dolby Vision video recording across all rear cameras.

Under the hood, the Find X9s could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s processor built on a 3nm process. OPPO is also said to equip the device with a large 32,052.5mm vapour chamber cooling system for thermal management. The smartphone may house a 7,025mAh silicon-carbon battery and run Android-based ColorOS 16 out of the box, all packed inside a slim 7.99mm body.
