Student's sweet gift for teacher after her brief absence delights internet

In the middle of a regular school day, a teacher was pleasantly surprised when one of her students walked in with a small gift, turning an ordinary break into a moment of joy.

Kajal Pandit, who was filming a “day in my life” video, captured the interaction while she was having lunch in the staffroom during her tiffin break.

As seen in the video, a little girl approached her and handed over a present, prompting an emotional response.

“But today is not my birthday. Yet, you’ve got this for me,” Kajal said, to which the child replied that she had missed her teacher during her two-day absence and brought the gift for her.

Later, Kajal unboxed the gift to find a cute keychain inside. “Perks of being a teacher,” read the caption of the post.
