In an exclusive interview with India Today's Pranay Upadhyaya in Tel Aviv, IDF Deputy International Spokesperson Lieutenant Ben Cohen detailed the progress of 'Operation Roaring Lion' against Iran. Cohen confirmed that Israeli forces recently eliminated the head of intelligence of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as part of a systematic campaign to dismantle Tehran's command and control structure. He revealed that the IDF and United States have successfully disabled more than 70% of Iran's ballistic missile launchers and achieved aerial superiority over Iranian territory. Addressing concerns regarding civilian targets, Cohen justified warnings issued to the Iranian public about rail networks, asserting that the IDF only strikes verified military infrastructure while accusing the Iranian regime of using civilian areas as human shields. Despite reports of the Supreme Leader being a target, Cohen declined to comment on specific future operations but emphasised that Israel will continue its strikes until the 'existential threat' posed by the Iranian regime is fully removed.
