Khushbu Sundar denied rumours that the central government pressured the Governor to delay the swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected actor-turned-politician, whose party emerged as the single largest with one hundred and eight seats. She slammed the Congress, pointing out their inability to win elections independently in the state over the last fifty-nine years and describing them as untrustworthy alliance partners. Despite the political rivalry and ideological differences, she praised Vijay for his honesty, patience, and connection with the youth and women voters.
