Gujarat man loses Rs 1.43 crore in digital arrest scam after obscene video threat

The ordeal began on April 2 when the victim received a call from an individual who introduced himself as an officer named Anuj, working for the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI). The caller told the old man that a mobile number registered under his name was used to distribute several obscene videos to women.

2 children dead after eating dosa in Ahmedabad, parents critical

According to Gaurishankar Prajapti, the grandfather of the two deceased girls, his son Vimal bought the khiru from a nearby shop named Ghanashyam Dairy to make dosa. The next morning, Vimal, his wife Bhavna, and two of his daughters started vomiting and were taken to the hospital as their conditions worsened.

57 girls fall ill due to food poisoning at Ahmedabad hostel, 18 hospitalised

About 900 girls reside in the hostel, said a civic body official, adding that 57 of them were rushed to a private hospital after they complained of symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhoea, stomach ache, and weakness. While 18 students were admitted, the rest were discharged after OPD-based observation.
