The results indicate a stable academic performance across streams this year, with only slight variation compared to the previous year. Students who appeared for the examination can now check and download their individual scorecards through the official result portal.

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad carried out a large-scale evaluation process for Class 12 answer sheets involving thousands of teachers across multiple centres.

This extensive checking system is designed to ensure timely declaration of results while maintaining accuracy at every stage, including marking, tabulation, and final compilation. Strict guidelines are followed throughout the process before the results are published online.

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad has set the minimum passing criteria at 33 per cent marks for both Class 10 and Class 12 examinations. Students who fail to meet this requirement will be eligible to appear for compartment exams to improve their scores.

The board examinations were conducted between February 18 and March 12, 2026, across nearly 8,000 examination centres in the state. These included 596 government schools, 3,453 government-aided institutions, and 3,984 self-financed secondary schools, ensuring wide coverage for lakhs of students.

The marksheets issued by the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad will include both theory and practical marks, wherever applicable.

Subjects that involve practical exams or internal assessments will have their scores added to the final result. Students are advised to carefully verify each component in their marksheet to ensure all marks have been correctly recorded and the total has been accurately calculated.

Two students from Sitapur have brought laurels to the district by securing the top positions in both High School and Intermediate examinations conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad.

Kashish Verma emerged as the High School topper with 97.83% marks, while Shikha Verma topped the Intermediate examination with 97.60% marks. Remarkably, both students studied at the same institution — Baburam Savitri Devi School in Bilauli Bazar, Mahmudabad.

Hailing from a rural background, both achievers come from farming families, with their fathers engaged in agriculture. Their success has highlighted strong academic performance emerging from rural Uttar Pradesh.

This year, a total of 24,86,072 students appeared for the Intermediate examination conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad.

The candidate pool included 13,09,397 boys and 11,76,675 girls, along with over 76,000 private candidates, reflecting the large-scale participation in one of India’s biggest board examinations.

This year, a total of 24,86,072 students appeared for the Intermediate examination conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad.

The candidate pool included 13,09,397 boys and 11,76,675 girls, along with over 76,000 private candidates, reflecting the large-scale participation in one of India’s biggest board examinations.

Institutional candidates registered a pass percentage of 80.47%, while private candidates stood at 77.54%, as per data released by the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad.

This indicates a slightly stronger performance by regular school students compared to private candidates.

A significant gender gap has been recorded in the Intermediate results declared by the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad.

Girls achieved a pass percentage of 86.32%, while boys recorded 75.04%, showing a difference of 11.28 percentage points in favour of female candidates.
