CBI to question approver Indrani in INX Media case

A team of CBI officials will visit the Byculla jail on Tuesday to question former media baron Indrani Mukerjea in the INX Media case in which former Union finance minister P Chidambaram has been arrested. Prime accused in the Sheena Bora murder case, Indrani Mukerjea is lodged at Byculla jail. Indrani had turned an approver in the INX Media corruption and money laundering case against Chidambaram and his son Karti. Sources said the CBI team will be questioning Indrani as they want clarity on certain financial transactions as part of the corruption case. A special court had on Monday allowed the CBI to question Indrani Mukerjea in connection with the INX Media corruption case.
