In an exclusive interview with India Today, Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav said that climate finance is not charity, but the responsibility of developed nations.

Bhupender Yadav said, "Climate finance is not a charity. It is the responsibility of the developed nations. They have to fulfill it."

He further added, "Everyone is being told to increase their targets to save the world, but if consumption is not being plugged by the developed world, then how can we move forward?"
