Congress strongman DK Shivakumar sent to Tihar jail

Senior Congress leader DK Shivakumar was on Thursday sent to Tihar jail after he was discharged from the RML Hospital. Shivakumar, arrested by the ED on September 3 in a money laundering case, was on Tuesday remanded in judicial custody for 14 days till October 1 by a Delhi court. Shivakumar was in the ED custody since his arrest. Shivakumar, however, was admitted to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital after the court directed the ED to take him for a check-up.
