'We welcome court's order': Hindu side lawyer after big Gyanvapi verdict

Harishankar Jain, a lawyer representing the Hindu side, welcomed the recent Allahabad High Court's order to allow Hindu prayers in a cellar of the Gyanvapi mosque.

Harishankar Jain said, "we welcome the order of the honourable high court", adding that it was the correct decision as Hindus had been worshipping at Jayat-e-Shaykhana until 1993, when the puja was stopped without a valid order.

Jain also acknowledged that the Muslim side has legal options and expects them to take the case to the Supreme Court, where he and his team are prepared to respond.
