Indigo sacks staffer who manhandled passenger at Delhi's IGI airport, apologises

A man was dragged and manhandled by Indigo Airline staff at Delhi's IGI airport. The video that caught this incident has now gone viral.

The passenger, identified as Rajeev Katyal, was dragged for over a minute and beaten in broad daylight.

Indigo has sacked its staffer involved in the act and apologised for his misconduct. Sources tell India Today that an altercation broke out between Indigo employees and Katyal over a misunderstanding when he questioned the staff over delay in arrival of an aerobus.

Meanwhile, Union Civil Aviation Minister Jayant Sinha has condemned the deplorable behaviour demonstrated by the IndiGo crew and said, "The culprit has been sacked and an Indigo senior executive has personally apologised to the passenger. Ministry of Civil Aviation has already asked for a detailed report."
