Kerala gold scam: Accused Swapna Suresh had links with CM Pinarayi Vijayan's office

The National Investigative Agency said that the key accused in the Kerala gold smuggling case had established a link in Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan's office.

The NIA also told the court that during the investigation, they discovered that Swapna Suresh was working with the UAE Consulate even after resigning and was being paid USD 1,000 as remuneration. People, part of the gold smuggling ring, were paid Rs 50,000 by Swapna for each consignment.
