PMC Bank scam: Sanjay Raut's wife Varsha likely to appear before ED on January 5

Sanjay Raut's wife Varsha Raut, who has been summoned by the ED in the PMC Bank fraud case, is likely to appear before the probe agency on January 5. She was asked to appear before the agency for questioning on Tuesday. According to information exclusively sourced by India Today TV, a Rs 50 lakh transaction of Varsha Raut with the wife of another accused, named Pravin Raut, in the case is under the scanner.

Varsha Raut has been summoned in connection with the same transaction which is said to be a loan borrowed by her for purchase of a property. This, according to sources, is third summons issued to Sanjay Raut's wife Varsha in the PMC bank scam case. She was first summoned on December 11. She has skipped the earlier two summons, sources told India Today TV.
