Resident doctors in Davanagere continue strike on Day 13

Resident doctors of JJM Medical College in Davanagere, Karnataka their indefinite strike over the non-payment of stipends for the past 16 months. Just a few days ago, Karnataka Home Minister, assured to India Today that the resident doctors problem will be resolved in two days time. But no solution has been drawn out so far.

Amid the coronavirus pandemic which has rendered many jobless, resident doctors including the post-graduates and interns of the JJM Medical College, have been demanding basic stipend pay which has not been paid to them for the past 16 months.
