Trainee IAS officer Puja Khedkar's mother released from jail

Trainee IAS officer Puja Khedkar's mother, Manorama Khedkar, was released on Saturday, a day after a court in Pune granted bail to her in a case concerning alleged criminal intimidation tied to a land dispute. Additional sessions judge AN Mare granted bail to Manorama Khedkar, her counsel Sudhir Shah said.

Manorama Khedkar was initially arrested on July 18 in connection with a land dispute case and was sent to police custody for four days. Later, the court denied her bail and sent her to judicial custody for another 14 days.
