MCD election 2017: Is BJP dominance in Delhi municipal polls, a referendum win for Modi wave?

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) which has been ruling the civic bodies of Delhi for the last ten years appears set for a hat-trick as counting for the crucial Delhi MCD election continues. The saffron party is also quite confident of cashing in on the Modi wave as it is leading in all the three-North, South and East Delhi Municipal Corporations.

According to early counting trends, BJP is leading in 184 wards, the Congress in 40 and the AAP in 37 wards in the Delhi civic polls.

What remains the moot point today is whether BJP wave in Delhi, a doing of Narendra Modi or Delhi BJP president Manoj Tiwari?
