Bihar distributors queue up for Allu Arjun's Raaka rights; here's what we know
Actor Allu Arjun's Raaka is drawing massive interest from distributors in Bihar for exclusive state rights. The buzz reflects his strong fan base in the Hindi belt after the success of Pushpa: The Rise and Pushpa 2: The Rule.

Actor Allu Arjun’s upcoming film Raaka is reportedly drawing strong interest from distributors in Bihar. Multiple players are said to be in talks for the film’s exclusive rights in the state. According to a report, the offers being discussed are at an unprecedented price, underlining the actor's growing pull in the region.
The reported demand comes as the 44-year-old actor continues to enjoy a strong following across Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand. Trade expectations around Raaka have been shaped by the performance of his previous films in the Hindi belt, especially Pushpa: The Rise and Pushpa 2: The Rule. The films found major success in northern markets.
Strong demand in Bihar
A source close to the project told Hindustan Times that several distributors from Bihar have approached the makers of Raaka for the state’s territorial rights. The source said the interest reflects the scale of Arjun’s fan base in Bihar and neighbouring states.
The same source said Pushpa 2: The Rule performed exceptionally well in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand, and that the demand for the film led to the reopening of several theatres in those regions. Trade circles are now expecting a similar response for Raaka.
Pushpa films built momentum
Pushpa: The Rise was first released only in Telugu. Its popularity in the North later led to a Hindi-dubbed release. That version went on to earn more than Rs 100 crore, with Bihar and Uttar Pradesh playing a major part in its run. The response also led Arjun to launch the trailer of Pushpa 2 in Patna.
Pushpa 2 then performed even better in the North. The film earned Rs 812 crore in Hindi alone, further strengthening Arjun’s position in the Hindi-speaking market.
