Trisha Krishnan gets special birthday poster from Karuppu team ahead of release

The makers of Karuppu unveiled a special birthday poster for Trisha Krishnan. It features a festive glimpse of her character while extending wishes to the actor. The new visual highlights her presence in the upcoming fantasy action film, building excitement ahead of its release.

Sharing the poster on Instagram, the team wrote, “Special birthday wishes to the South Queen @trishakrishnan - from the entire team of #Karuppu. See you all in theatres very soon (sic)!”

In the poster, Trisha is seen dancing to what appears to be a traditional track, dressed in a green saree, with a group of women performing alongside her in the background. The visuals hint at a celebratory and culturally rooted sequence in the film.

Earlier, the makers had also revealed details about her role in the Karuppu. Trisha will be seen playing Preethi, a lawyer, in the RJ Balaji directorial. A glimpse into her character showcased a mix of elegance and intrigue, featuring stylish visuals along with a brief look at a dance sequence.

The film’s background score, composed by Sai Abhyankkar, adds to the overall appeal, complementing Trisha’s poised and striking screen presence.

Set in a world marked by turmoil, fear, and injustice, Karuppu follows the journey of a mysterious figure played by Suriya, who rises as an unlikely hero. As he navigates personal struggles and harsh realities, the story traces his transformation and search for purpose and inner strength.

The film features a strong ensemble cast including Indrans, Natty Subramaniam, Swasika, Sshivada, Anagha Maaya Ravi, Supreeth Reddy and Yogi Babu.

Trisha was last seen in films like Identity, Vidaamuyarchi, Good Bad Ugly and Thug Life in 2025. She will next be seen in Karuppu, set to release in theatres on May 14, 2026. The actor also has Vishwambhara (Telugu) and Ram (Malayalam) in the pipeline.
