IPL 2026: The upcoming T20 league is set to see several records broken, with the spotlight on Virat Kohli, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Suryakumar Yadav and others.

The Indian Premier League (IPL) is set for another thrilling edition in 2026, with superstars from around the globe coming together to entertain fans. Ten teams will compete for the crown across 13 venues, with the tournament scheduled from March 28 to May 31.
From MS Dhoni and Rohit Sharma to Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah, all eyes will be on some of the biggest names in world cricket. Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) are the defending champions, having beaten Punjab Kings (PBKS) in last year’s final.
RCB will kick off their campaign against 2016 champions Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Mumbai Indians (MI), both five-time title winners, will also be in the spotlight.
Punjab Kings, Delhi Capitals (DC) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) are still chasing their first titles, while Sunrisers Hyderabad, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Gujarat Titans (GT) remain teams to watch closely.
Over the years, the IPL has seen countless records broken. Last year, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi stole the show, becoming the youngest T20 centurion. The 2026 edition promises to witness even more milestones.
