Xiaomi is set to launch two smartphones tomorrow globally: the Xiaomi 17T and the Xiaomi 17T Pro. The Xiaomi 17T confirmed to break cover in India on 4th June. Ahead of launch, the Chinese company revealed key details about the Xiaomi 17T Pro.

Xiaomi is gearing up to launch the ‘T’ series lineup globally tomorrow (May 28). The lineup includes two smartphones: the Xiaomi 17T and the Xiaomi 17T Pro. Among the two smartphones, the Xiaomi 17T is confirmed to roll out in India on 4th June, but the other one, the Xiaomi 17T Pro, whether it will be launched or not, remains under wraps until now. Ahead of the global debut, the company revealed major details about the Xiaomi 17T Pro. Thanks to leaks, which have already given us ideas about what the Xiaomi 17T could ship with and its prices.
What we could expect from Xiaomi 17T Pro
Xiaomi posted on X (formerly Twitter) that the upcoming Xiaomi 17T Pro will be powered by the flagship MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, built on a 3nm process. Interestingly, previous models in the Xiaomi 17 series use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chipset; adding the MediaTek Dimensity chipset to the Xiaomi 17T Pro will mark it as the first phone in the lineup.
Apart from the chipset, the company confirmed that the Xiaomi 17T Pro will pack a massive 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery. The Chinese company claimed that the 17T Pro will deliver up to 9.5 hours of continuous video recording on a single charge. Remaining details, which include price and other specs, are yet to be unveiled by the company. However, in terms of pricing, leaks can give you a good idea of what price tag these smartphones could carry.
Xiaomi 17T, Xiaomi 17T Pro expected prices
Tipster Abhishek Yadav earlier hinted on X, the Xiaomi 17T may start at PHP 33,999 (roughly Rs 52,700) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. The higher-end 12GB RAM and 512GB storage model is tipped to be priced at PHP 37,999 (around Rs 58,900).
Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 17T Pro is expected to debut at PHP 45,999 (approximately Rs 71,400) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB variant. The top-end 12GB RAM and 512GB storage configuration could reportedly cost PHP 47,999 (roughly Rs 74,500).
Interestingly, these leaked Southeast Asian prices are notably lower than earlier leaks for the European market. Previous reports suggested that the Xiaomi 17T may launch in Europe at EUR 749 (around Rs 83,000), while the Xiaomi 17T Pro could be priced at EUR 999 (roughly Rs 1.1 lakh).
Xiaomi 17T expected specifications
The smartphone is rumoured to feature a 6.59-inch AMOLED display offering 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, the device may be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset.
For optics, the Xiaomi 17T is tipped to feature a Leica-branded triple rear camera setup comprising two 50-megapixel sensors alongside a 12-megapixel camera. On the front, the handset could sport a 32-megapixel selfie shooter.
The smartphone is also expected to pack a 6,500mAh battery and may ship with Android 16, dual-SIM support, and an IP68-rated build for dust and water resistance.
