Nepal protests: Death toll rises to 51, includes one Indian woman, three cops

The death toll from the ongoing Gen Z protests in Nepal has climbed to 51, according to Nepal police. Officials have confirmed that the deceased include one Indian woman and three police personnel. The violence, which has spread across the country, saw a significant crackdown on September 8th, leading to further unrest on September 9th. The number of casualties was expected to rise as data from different parts of the country was compiled. Ambulances were seen rushing injured individuals to hospitals in Kathmandu even as the army took control of parts of the city to restore law and order.
