National Congress chief Farooq Abdullah said the "Home Ministry is lying in the Parliament" that he is "not been house arrested" and in a sensational claim, accused the Central government of wanting to kill him.
Farooq Abdullah said this is not the India he believed in.
"Why would I stay inside my house on my own will when my state is being burnt, when my people are being executed in jails? This is not the India I believed in," Farooq Abdullah said.
"As soon as the gate will open and our people will be out, we will fight, we will go to the court. We are not gun-runners, grenade-throwers, stone-throwers, we believe in peaceful resolutions. They want to murder us. My son (Omar Abdullah) is in jail," Farooq Abdullah said.
