Covid-19 second wave: SC puts onus on Centre for oxygen supply in Delhi

The Centre on Wednesday moved the Supreme Court against the Delhi High Court show-cause notice over the ongoing oxygen crisis in Delhi and the court, in turn, asked it to ensure Delhi gets 700 MT oxygen. The contempt proceedings initiated by the Delhi High Court against the Centre has been stayed by the Supreme Court, which asked the government's to inform of its plans of oxygen supply by 10.30 am on Thursday. During the hearing against the show-cause notice issued to the Centre, the Supreme Court asked the government to comply with the court's orders of supplying 700 MT oxygen to Delhi and sought to know the plans to achieve the target.
