Mohammed Siraj

One of India's most promising fast bowlers, Mohammed Siraj is renowned for his accuracy, aggression, and two-way swing. Siraj, who was born in Hyderabad on March 13, 1994, advanced through the ranks with outstanding domestic cricket performances for Hyderabad before making a name for himself in the Indian Premier League (IPL), especially with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). He received a national call-up as a result of his IPL success, and in December 2020, he made his Test debut in Australia during the Border-Gavaskar series.

During that series, he was particularly impressive, taking his first five wickets in the historic Brisbane Test to help India win the series. He has been a consistent member of India's speed attack in all formats ever since.

He regularly produced with the new ball while playing for India in the Asia Cup and World Cup.

Siraj's disciplined bowling continued to be a strength in the IPL 2024 season, frequently shattering partnerships at pivotal times. He is well-known for his tenacity and has talked candidly about overcoming personal setbacks, including as losing his father while touring Australia.

Mohammed Siraj, who is respected for his work ethic, enthusiasm, and capacity to perform well under duress, is still a vital member of India's bowling squad as of 2025. Young cricket players all around the nation are still motivated by his path from modest beginnings to worldwide fame.
