Most Airbnbs promise good views or peaceful mornings. A 23-year-old woman in the US decided that wasn’t enough, so she built a stay where guests wake up with a giraffe staring straight into their window.

Kamryn Grant, an animal enthusiast from Oklahoma, has gone viral after creating a safari-style rental experience centred around a giraffe named Yoshi. Videos from the property have been flooding social media, showing the towering animal casually wandering up to guests during breakfast or peeking into rooms like an oversized neighbour with no concept of personal space.

But the stay is far more than just a gimmick built around one animal. The property houses over a hundred creatures, including zebras, kangaroos, camels, foxes, sloths and lemurs. Visitors can feed them, interact with them and take guided tours around the space, which feels somewhere between a wildlife park and a luxury farm stay.

What makes the story stand out is Grant’s age. At just 23, she transformed a niche idea into an internet obsession. According to reports, the concept initially began on a much smaller scale before gradually expanding into a full-fledged animal retreat. Once clips of Yoshi began circulating online, the place exploded in popularity.

Several TikTok videos from the property have crossed millions of views, with viewers calling it “the coolest Airbnb ever” and “a childhood dream in real life.” Some guests have reportedly travelled across states just for the chance to spend a night there.

Despite the viral fame, Grant says the larger goal is to help people feel more connected to animals and wildlife. Instead of experiencing them from behind glass barriers, visitors are encouraged to interact with them closely and comfortably.

In an internet full of luxury stays competing to look aesthetic, this one managed to stand out for a simpler reason: not every morning comes with a giraffe waiting outside your room.
