Watch: Heroic IAF rescue op saves 2 men stranded in Tawi river in Jammu

As north India continues to battle calamitous floods, the Indian Airforce on Monday carried out a heroic rescue operation after four people got stuck on an under-construction bridge over the Tawi river in Jammu. The men reportedly were in the river to fish.

The dramatic visuals show the IAF chopper flying still over the gushing waters of the Tawi river and personnel of the Indian Air Force being lowered with the help of a rope, on to the pier attached to one of the pillars of the under-construction bridge where two of the four men had sought refuge.
