IRCTC website slows down after ticket bookings begin

The IRCTC's website has slowed down today after people started booking their tickets. The online bookings were to start from 4 pm today, but the railways had clarified that the site has not crashed and added that it slowed down as data were being uploaded.

On Sunday, Indian Railways had announced that it will resume passenger train operations on select routes from May 12.
